Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

   Happy Diwali   

Ingredients:
  • Butter - 1 cup, softened
  • Confectioner’s sugar - 3 cups, sifted
  • Clear Vanilla Extract - 2 Teaspoon
  • Heavy cream - 2-3 Tablespoon
  • Salt - ¼ Teaspoon
Instructions:
  1. In a mixing bowl, add the softened butter; Beat using an electric mixer on medium speed till smooth and it becomes lighter color for about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add confectioner's sugar(half cup at a time). Beat on high speed till incorporated after each addition.
  3. Add vanilla extract and salt, combine well.
  4. Add heavy cream and beat well, till you get the desired consistency(refer notes).

Notes:

  • You can add milk instead of heavy cream.
  • For a firmer frosting, add more confectioner's sugar.( ¼ cup at a time)
  • For a softer frosting, add more milk or heavy cream. ( one tablespoon at a time)

Yield - makes about 4 cups of frosting
