Ingredients:
- Butter - 1 cup, softened
- Confectioner’s sugar - 3 cups, sifted
- Clear Vanilla Extract - 2 Teaspoon
- Heavy cream - 2-3 Tablespoon
- Salt - ¼ Teaspoon
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, add the softened butter; Beat using an electric mixer on medium speed till smooth and it becomes lighter color for about 2-3 minutes.
- Add confectioner's sugar(half cup at a time). Beat on high speed till incorporated after each addition.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, combine well.
- Add heavy cream and beat well, till you get the desired consistency(refer notes).
Notes:
- You can add milk instead of heavy cream.
- For a firmer frosting, add more confectioner's sugar.( ¼ cup at a time)
- For a softer frosting, add more milk or heavy cream. ( one tablespoon at a time)
Yield - makes about 4 cups of frosting
