Ingredients:
- Semolina/Sooji rawa - 1 ½ cups
- Sugar - 1 - 1 ¼ cup
- Ghee/ Butter - ½ cup
- Raisins - 10-15 Nos
- Coarsely chopped Cashew nuts - ¼ cup
- Crushed Cardamom - 5 pods
- Milk - ½ cup
- Water - 3 cups
Instructions:
- Add milk, sugar, water and crushed cardamom in a pan. Let it boil over medium heat. Don't forget to stir often.
- Heat ghee/butter in a heavy bottomed deep pan, add semolina and fry until light golden brown color.
- Now add the chopped cashews and raisins to the roasted semolina and mix well.
- When the semolina is almost golden color, gently add in the milk mixture(step #1), and mix thoroughly without forming any lumps; Stir till you get a smooth paste-like consistency.
- Stir the mixture until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan and forms a mass without any lumps.
- Remove from heat and serve warm.
