Ingredients:
- Ragi Powder, Finger Millet Powder - 2 cups
- Grated Jaggery - 250-300 Gms
- Water - ¼ cup
- Cardamom powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Ghee - 2 Tablespoon
- Broken Cashew nuts - ¼ cup
Instructions:
- Dry roast the Ragi powder in a skillet on low heat until you get a nutty smell. Don't burn it.
- Remove from heat and let it cool completely. Set aside.
- Boil jaggery with water until the jaggery is completely melted.
- Remove from heat, and allow to cool slightly, then filter to remove the impurities.
- In a bowl add in the roasted ragi powder, cardamom powder, broken cashew nuts, ghee, warm melted jaggery and mix everything well using your hands.
- Then make small Ladoos out of the prepared Ladoo mix.
- Ragi Ladoo is ready to be served.
Yield: 15-20 Ladoos
