Ingredients:
- Pomfret - one large sized or 2 medium sized( approx: 500-600 Gms)
- Oil for frying
For Marination:
- Ginger - ½ inch piece
- Garlic - 3-4 cloves
- Shallots - 2 Nos
- Curry Leaves - 4-5 leaves
- Chilly Powder - 1 ½ Tablespoon
- Turmeric Powder - ¾ Teaspoon
- Pepper Powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Garam masala powder - 1 small pinch
- Coconut oil - 1 Tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Clean and make some slits on both sides of the fish; Wash and drain completely.
- Put all ingredients for 'marination' in the small jar of a food processor/blender and make a fine paste.
- Marinate the fish using the prepared paste and refrigerate for at-least 30 minutes(2 Hrs for best results).
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry fish on both sides in low/medium heat. Carefully flip to both sides without breaking the fish.
- Serve hot.
