Ingredients:
- Bitter gourd / Pavakka - 1 big, finely chopped
- Onion(medium sized) - 1 Nos, finely chopped
- Green Chilli - 1 Nos, finely chopped
- Grated Coconut - 1 cup
- Coconut Oil - 1 ½ Tablespoon
- Curry leaves - 1 spring
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together the grated coconut, chopped bitter gourd, onion, green chilli and curry leaves.
- Heat ½ tablespoon of coconut oil in a pan on low-medium flame, put the mixture into the pan.
- Add salt and sprinkle little water over the mixture and combine well. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the lid and stir the mix. Cook until the water content evaporates completely. Stir occasionally.
- Then pour one tablespoon of coconut oil, mix well. Switch off the flame and keep it closed for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Tips :
The more coconut you add, the more tasty it is.
