   Happy Diwali   

Ingredients:
  • Fermented Dosa Batter - 1 litre
  • Chopped Onion - 1 cup
  • Chopped Green Chilly - 2 Tablespoon
  • Chopped Tomato - ½ cup
  • Chopped Curry leaves - 1 Tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil or ghee as required
  • Salt to taste
Instructions:

  1. Add enough salt in the dosa batter and mix well.
  2. Heat a flat pan and grease it with some ghee or oil.
  3. Pour a ladle full of dosa batter on the pan and gently spread it using the back of a spoon.
  4. Sprinkle chopped onion, green chilly, tomato and curry leaves evenly on top.
  5. Drizzle little ghee or oil around the sides and top. Cover and cook on low-medium heat.
  6. When one side of the uthappam is done, carefully flip it to the other side and continue cooking.
  7. When done, remove it from the pan and transfer to a plate. Repeat the process with rest of the batter.
  8. Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
