Ingredients:
- Neymeen - 100-150 Gms, cut into 6 medium pieces or 3 large pieces
- Pepper powder - ¼ Teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Red Chilli powder - ½ Tablespoon
- Garlic-Ginger paste - 1 Teaspoon
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Coconut Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Clean and wash the fish pieces. Drain the water completely. Set aside.
- In a bowl, mix together the pepper powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, salt, 1 tablespoon of water and make a thick paste.
- Marinate the fish pieces with this masala and set aside for 30 minutes.
- Heat coconut oil in a pan, add fish pieces along with curry leaves and shallow fry on medium heat for about 10-15 minutes or till the fish pieces are well fried. Don't forget to flip carefully to both sides occasionally.
- Serve hot.
