Ingredients:
- Rice flakes, or Flattened rice : ½ cup
- Chilled Milk - 1 ½ - 2 cup
- Ripe Baby Banana : 2-3 Nos
- Horlicks - 2-3 Tablespoon
- Sugar - 3-5 Tablespoon
For Garnishing:
- Roasted Peanuts
- Roasted Cashew Nuts, optional
- Glazed Cherries, optional
Instructions:
- Dry roast the rice flakes until crispy on low heat. Set aside.
- Mash the banana using a muddler or the back of a spoon and set aside.
- Blend together the milk, horlicks and sugar until nicely blended on high speed.
- Take 2 large serving glasses and divide the mashed banana among them.
- Then add some roasted cashews and peanuts over it.
- Now divide the roasted rice flakes to each glass.
- Pour the prepared milk mixture until it almost reaches the brim.
- Garnish with the remaining roasted nuts, glazed cherries or with a scoop of ice-cream.
- Mix well with a spoon and enjoy.
Notes:
- This recipe serves 2 large serving glasses. So adjust the quantity of milk and horlicks according to the size of the serving glass.
- Adjust the quantity of sugar according to your taste.
