Ingredients:
For Cooking Beef:
- Beef - 1 Kg, cut into small pieces
- Red Pearl Onions - 40 Nos, sliced
- Crushed Garlic - 2 Teaspoon
- Crushed Ginger - 2 Teaspoon
- Green chillies - 8-10 Nos, crushed
- Fennel Seed Powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Cinnamon Powder - ¼ Teaspoon
- Coriander Powder - 4 Teaspoon
- Red Chilli Powder - 3 Teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Fenugreek Powder - 1 ½ Teaspoon
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Water as required
- Salt to taste
For Roasting Beef:
- Coconut bites - ½ - ¾ cup
- Red Pearl Onions - 6 Nos, sliced
- Coconut Oil - 4 Tablespoon
- Tomato, medium sized - 2 Nos, chopped
- Black Pepper Powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Curry leaves - 1-2 sprig
Instructions:
Cooking Beef:
- In a pan, add in the ingredients mentioned in 'For Cooking Beef' and mix well.
- Cook until the beef is cooked well and the gravy dries-up on medium heat. Stir occasionally.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
Roasting Beef:
- Heat 4 tablespoons of coconut oil in a heavy bottomed wide pan, add in the coconut bites and fry until slightly golden on medium heat.
- Then add in the sliced red pearl onions and fry until the onions turn slightly brown on medium heat.
- Now add in the black pepper powder, curry leaves and fry for few seconds.
- Then add in the cooked beef pieces, chopped tomatoes and mix well, cover and cook for about 5 minutes on low heat.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
