Ingredients:
- Chicken - 500 Gms, cut into small pieces
- Onion, medium sized - 2 Nos, finely chopped
- Green Chillies - 4 Nos, finely chopped
- Tomato Sauce - 1 Tablespoon
- Curry Leaves - 2 sprig
- Vegetable Oil - 2 Tablespoon
- Salt to taste
For Marination:
- Crushed Garlic - 4 Tablespoon
- Red Chilli flakes- 1 - 1 ½ Tablespoon, adjust
- Vinegar - 1 Tablespoon
- Salt - ½ Teaspoon
Instructions:
- Clean and wash the chicken pieces. Drain the water completely.
- Marinate the chicken pieces with the ingredients mentioned in 'For marination' and keep it aside for one hour.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, add in the chopped onion and saute until slightly brown and let it cool; Then grind to a fine paste and set aside.
- Heat the remaining oil in a heavy bottomed pan, add in the curry leaves and saute for few seconds.
- Add in the chicken pieces and saute for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
- Add little water and salt. Mix well and cook until the chicken is almost done.
- Then add in the onion paste and tomato sauce. Mix well and cook until the chicken is tender and the gravy is thick.
- Once the gravy is thick, add in the green chillies and mix well.
- Remove from heat and serve warm.
