   Happy Diwali   

Ingredients:
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk - 1 tin (400g)
  • Grated Fresh Coconut - 280 gms (4 cups)
  • Dried Coconut powder/flakes - ½ to ¾ cup ( approx 50 gms to 75 gms)
  • Cardamom powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Ghee - 1 ½ tablespoons
Instructions:
  1. Heat ghee in thick bottomed pan, add the fresh grated coconut and saute for 1 minute over medium flame, then add the cardamom powder and mix well.
  2. Then add condensed milk and mix well. Stirring constantly, so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
  3. Once the mix is hot, lower the heat and cook till the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan for about 5 minutes. Don't forget to stir continuously. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. Now grease your hands with ghee, take some of the mixture and roll into ball. Roll the prepared balls in the dried coconut powder/flakes.

Yield : Makes 20-25 ladoos, depends on the ladoo size.
