Ingredients:
- All-purpose flour - 2 ¼ cups
- Semisweet chocolate chips - 2 cups( 350 gms approx )
- Unsalted butter(room temperature) - 1 cup (230 gms approx)
- Granulated sugar - ½ cup
- Light brown sugar - 1 cup
- Vanilla extract - 2 Teaspoon
- Baking soda - ½ Teaspoon
- Eggs - 2 Nos
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a bowl, add in the flour and baking soda. Mix well and set aside.
- In a large bowl, add in the butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar and beat until fluffy on medium speed .
- Add in the salt, vanilla extract, eggs and beat until mixed well.
- Now add the flour mixture little by little and mix until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop heaping tablespoon-size balls of dough about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies are golden around the edges (centers will be soft), remove from oven.
- Let cool on baking sheet for 1 to 2 minutes, transfer to a wire rack, and allow to cool completely.
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
Yield: Makes about 3 dozen
