Ingredients:
For Pizza Dough:
- All-purpose flour - 2 ¾ cup
- Active Dry Yeast or Rapid Rise Yeast - 1 Envelope or 1 Tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 Tablespoon
- Lukewarm water - approx: 1 cup, refer notes
- Olive oil OR Vegetable oil - 2 Tablespoon
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Additional flour for dusting
For Cooking Pasta:
- Penne Pasta - 30 Nos, 50-60 Gms approx:
- Water to cook
- Salt as required
For cooking Chicken:
- Chicken - 300-400 Gms, cut into medium thick stripes
- Minced garlic - 1 Tablespoon
- Maggi Chicken stock - ½ of a cube, OR use ½ cup chicken broth, optional but recommended
- Olive Oil - 2 Tablespoon
- Pepper Powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Salt - ½ Teaspoon
For Pasta Sauce:
- Milk - 1 ½ cup
- All-purpose flour - 3 Tablespoon
- Cream cheese- 2 Tablespoon
- Butter - 4 Tablespoon
- Pepper powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Finely chopped coriander leaves - 1-2 Tablespoon
- Salt to taste
For Arrangement:
- Mozerella cheese, as required
- Finely chopped coriander leaves
Instructions:
Pizza Dough Making:
- In a large mixing bowl, add in the yeast, lukewarm water, sugar and mix well. Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes or until the yeast rise.
- Then add in the flour, salt, olive oil and combine well.
- Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic, about 6-10 minutes. Shape dough into a ball shape.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a damp towel and let the dough rise at room temperature until doubled, about 1-2 hours.
Cooking pasta:
- Heat enough water to cook the pasta in a pan, and allow to boil.
- Once it started a rolling boil, add in the pasta and salt.
- Cook until done, strain and set aside.
Cooking Chicken & Pasta Sauce Making:
- Heat olive oil in a pan, add in the chicken pieces, pepper powder, salt and cook until the chicken is half done.
- Then add in the minced garlic and saute until the raw smell goes.
- Then add in the Maggi chicken stock cube or chicken broth and mix well.
- Cook until the chicken is done. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
- Add butter in the same pan, add in the milk and cook until it starts to boil.
- Then add in the flour, mix well without any lumps.
- Then add in the cream cheese and mix well for 1-2 minutes.
- Add in the pepper powder, salt and mix well till the sauce becomes thick.
- Then add in the cooked pasta, chicken and mix well for 1-2 minutes.
- Finally add in the coriander leaves and mix well.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
Final Arrangement and Baking:
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Lightly dust the work surface with flour, place the dough and knead slightly.
- Roll the dough to fit your pizza pan, then transfer to a pizza pan, lift the edges of the pizza to form a slight rim.
- Make some holes on the pizza crust using a fork.
- Spread the prepared chicken pasta on the pizza crust.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozerella cheese on top.
- Bake for about 12-18 minutes or until the side of the pizza crust is slightly golden and the cheese are completely melted.
- Baking time may vary according to the oven model. So check now and then after the first 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves on top.
- Serve after 3-4 minutes.
