Ingredients:
For Chicken Patties:
- Ground or finely minced Chicken Breast Meat - 500 Gms
- Finely chopped Sweet Onion - ½ cup
- Fresh bread crumbs - 1 cup
- Finely chopped garlic - 1 Tablespoon
- Black Pepper Powder - 1 ½ Teaspoon
- Dried Thyme leaves - 1 Teaspoon
- Egg - 1 medium, beaten
- Salt to taste
- Olive Oil - 2-3 Tablespoon
For Assembling:
- Burger Buns - 5-6 Nos
- Cheddar Cheese slices - 5-6 Nos
- Iceberg Lettuce, Tomato slices and Mayonnaise
Instructions:
- Mix all the ingredients except olive oil in a bowl. You can add little more bread crumbs, if the mixture is too sticky.
- Divide the mixture into 5 or 6 equal sized portions and shape each portion into medium thick patties.
- Heat 1-2 teaspoon of olive oil per patty in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the patties one at a time, until cooked through and golden spots appear, for about 5 to 7 minutes per side on low-medium heat.
- On the last minute of frying, place a slice of cheese on the patty and close the pan with a lid and cook on low heat.
- Once the cheese starts to melt, transfer the patty to a platter and start assembling.
- Place the fried patties in buns and top with desired toppings.
