   Happy Diwali   

Ingredients:
  • Carrots - 300 Gms
  • Milk - ¾ cup
  • Sugar - 3 Tablespoon, adjust according to your taste
  • Ghee - 3 Tablespoon
  • Condensed milk - 4 Tablespoon, adjust according to your taste
  • Cardamom powder - ¼ Teaspoon
  • Cashew Nuts - 6 Nos, chopped
  • Almonds - 6 Nos, chopped
Instructions:
  1. Wash, peel and grate the carrots.
  2. Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed deep pan, roast the chopped cashew nuts, almonds till light golden brown; Remove from ghee and set aside.
  3. Add the grated carrots in the same pan, and sauté for 10 minutes on low flame; Or till the raw smell disappears. Carrots should be tender and slightly changed in color.
  4. Add the milk and cook till the milk dries up. It will take approx 15 minutes; Stirring continuously.
  5. Now add sugar, cardamom powder, condensed milk, half of the crushed cashew nuts and almonds; Sauté until the halwa starts to leave the side of the pan. It will take approx 4-8 minutes.
  6. Garnish with the remaining almonds and cashew nuts.
