Ingredients:
- Boneless Chicken - 400 Gms, cut into medium strips
- Buttermilk - 1 cup
- Kashmiri red chilli powder - 2 Teaspoon
- Pepper powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Sugar - 2 Teaspoon
- Salt - 2 Teaspoon
- Italian style bread crumbs - as required ( approx: 1 ½ - 2 cups )
- Oil to drizzle over chicken strips, olive oil recommended
Instructions:
- Clean and wash the chicken strips. Drain the water completely.
- In a bowl, add in the chicken strips, buttermilk, red chilli powder, pepper powder, sugar, salt and mix well. Refrigerate it for at-least 2 hrs. Keep it overnight for best results.
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Remove each chicken strip from the buttermilk mixture and roll it in the bread crumbs. Make sure that it coated well evenly.
- Arrange the breadcrumbs coated chicken strips in a baking sheet and drizzle little oil on top.
- Bake for about 14-16 minutes or until cooked well and golden brown in color. Flip to the other side after half time to ensure proper cooking, and drizzle some oil too.
- Serve hot with your favorite sauce on side.
Notes:
- Color of the baked chicken strips is based on the amount of oil drizzled on it. So adjust the quantity.
