   Happy Diwali   

Ingredients:
  • Wheat flour - 2 cup
  • Ripe banana - 3 Nos, small sized
  • Jaggery- ¾ cup, finely grated
  • Cardamom powder -¼ Teaspoon
  • Baking soda - a pinch
  • Salt - ¼ Teaspoon
  • Water - 1-2 Tablespoon ( adjust to get a soft dough)
  • Coconut oil for frying
Instructions:
  1. In a bowl add ripe banana, grated jaggery, baking soda, cardamom powder and salt, mix well.
  2. Add wheat flour little by little into this, mix well to make soft dough( if required, add water ).
  3. Set aside for about 4-6 hours, then shape into bonda sized balls with wet hand.
  4. In a heavy bottomed pan, heat the coconut oil until its all bubbly over high heat.
  5. Lower the flame and fry each ball into the oil, until brown in color.
  6. Bonda is ready. Enjoy!

Yield: Makes about 14-16 bondas
