   Happy Diwali   

Ingredients:
  • Besan Flour - 2 cup
  • Powdered Sugar - 1 cup
  • Ghee - 1 cup
  • Cardamom powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Broken Cashews - ¼ cup
Instructions:
  1. Sift the besan flour; Roast the sifted besan flour over low flame, till the raw smell disappears and set aside.
  2. Heat a teaspoon of ghee in a pan, add the broken cashews and roast until golden brown, set aside.
  3. Reserve 3-4 tablespoons of ghee for greasing hands while shaping ladoos; Heat the remaining ghee in a heavy bottomed pan.
  4. Now add the fried besan flour and roast over low flame till the colour changes to golden brown; Stir continuously.
  5. Now add cardamom powder and give a quick mix and remove from the flame.
  6. Now add the powdered sugar, fried cashews and combine well.
  7. When the mixture is warm, combine well to form a smooth dough.
  8. Then shape ladoos with your hands. Grease your hands with the reserved ghee to avoid sticking, and this will make the ladoo moist.
  9. Let it cool completely then transfer to an airtight container.
