Ingredients:
- Besan Flour - 2 cup
- Powdered Sugar - 1 cup
- Ghee - 1 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Broken Cashews - ¼ cup
Instructions:
- Sift the besan flour; Roast the sifted besan flour over low flame, till the raw smell disappears and set aside.
- Heat a teaspoon of ghee in a pan, add the broken cashews and roast until golden brown, set aside.
- Reserve 3-4 tablespoons of ghee for greasing hands while shaping ladoos; Heat the remaining ghee in a heavy bottomed pan.
- Now add the fried besan flour and roast over low flame till the colour changes to golden brown; Stir continuously.
- Now add cardamom powder and give a quick mix and remove from the flame.
- Now add the powdered sugar, fried cashews and combine well.
- When the mixture is warm, combine well to form a smooth dough.
- Then shape ladoos with your hands. Grease your hands with the reserved ghee to avoid sticking, and this will make the ladoo moist.
- Let it cool completely then transfer to an airtight container.
