   Happy Diwali   

Ingredients:
  • All purpose flour - 3 cups
  • Unsalted butter - 2 ½ cups, softened
  • Granulated Sugar - 2 ½ cups
  • Baking powder - 1 ½ Teaspoons
  • Vanilla extract - 2 Teaspoons
  • Lemon extract - ½ Teaspoon
  • Almond extract - ½ Teaspoon
  • Eggs - 8 Nos
  • Salt - ½ Teaspoon
Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Grease two 9x5x3-inch loaf pans and dust with flour and set aside.
  3. Combine all purpose flour, baking powder and salt and set aside.
  4. In large bowl, add sugar, butter, vanilla extract, lemon extract, almond extract and beat until fluffy.
  5. Add one egg at a time and beat well.
  6. Add the flour mixture little by little into the sugar mixture and beat until smooth.
  7. Pour batter into loaf pans and cut through batter several times with knife to release air bubbles.
  8. Bake 60 to 70 minutes, or a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then carefully remove from pan, cool completely on wire rack.
